Objectives
Aiming to provide you with an in-depth knowledge and understanding of methods, theory and application in Economics, this course develops your ability to use economic reasoning in a variety of contexts. You will be examining a range of business and policy-related issues in economics and applying economic analysis to a wide range of important questions. There is a wide range of optional modules. The Department has a strong research base and a thriving alumni community that helps maintain links with employers and City institutions. The course also develops your employability skills in business.
Entry requirements
You should also have 200 points from two or more A-levels. You should have GCSE Grade C or above, or equivalent, in English Language and Maths.

Course structure
Single Honours students take eight modules at each level. Joint Honours involves four modules from each level in Economics, plus four from your other subject. You may also choose a Major/Minor combination after level 1.
