Programme
Design Graphic Communication With Typography Year 1
* Graphic disciplines of photography and illustration are introduced. Principles of design and typography are established
* You are introduced to conceptual thinking and design methodology
* Expressive messaging and experiments with hands-on letterpress and printmaking are introduced
* Technologies and software are introduced and extended
Design Graphic Communication With Typography Year 2
* Communication formats are expanded and tested; experimentation/risk taking are encouraged
* The Design Careers programme is undertaken
* The Socrates Exchange can be undertaken in the spring
* You can opt for the negotiated module, a work placement, a competition brief or live brief
* You will participate in the end-of-year exhibition
Design Graphic Communication With Typography Year 3
* Self-initiated, negotiated study in two major projects plus a dissertation with increased emphasis on research and learning both in breadth and depth
* Further intensive student/tutor contact leading to high professional standard at graduation
* Degree Show and participation in a major London graduate show
