Programme
Effective marketing communications is an essential element of any firm's marketing strategy. This course focuses on advertising and communications theory and practice and explores this exciting discipline within the wider subject area of marketing.
The first year of this programme introduces the basic principles of business, management, finance and marketing. The second and third years include a range of specialist core modules such as Advertising and Promotion, Brand Management, Buyer Behaviour, Marketing Research, Interactive and Direct Marketing, Campaign Planning, Advertising and Marketing Communications, and Project and Strategic Marketing Management. Optional modules might include International Marketing, Non-Profit Marketing, Customer Management, Interactive Marketing Campaigns and E-Marketing.
This Advertising degree has close links with industry with several modules incorporating projects that involve working with live clients, agencies and industry bodies.
