    Programme

A Joint Honours Degree programme is a combination of two different subjects. Students study 50% of one subject and 50% of another. Accounting can be combined with subjects such as Business, Law or Computing.

The Accounting Joint Honours course develops an understanding of accounting information rather than developing technical expertise in its creation. Accounting plays an essential role within business, and being able to competently discuss finance and accounting concepts is a skill highly sought after by employers in all sectors. This course is for students who wish to understand accountancy within a wider business context.

Modules cover topics such as the social and environmental aspects of accountancy and company performance evaluation - subjects designed to complement studies in the subject that forms the other half of this joint degree.
