  • Course description COURSE INFORMATION
    This programme of study provides a comprehensive and inter-disciplinary focus on the key factors influencing urban change in the UK and on the contemporary policy response. Emphasis is placed on developing an evidence-based approach to understanding and evaluating recent approaches to urban regeneration, focusing particularly on community- led initiatives and the wider emphasis on sustainable communities. The programme has also introduced a core module focusing on physical regeneration within the urban context.

    PS0701 Politics Postgraduate Dissertation (CORE, 60 Credits)

    COURSEWORK AND ASSESSMENT
    The programme consists of four core modules and a dissertation module. Assessment is based on a balance of written assessments, reports and assessed group presentations. There are no unseen examinations.

    The programme is accredited by the Institution of Economic Development for the purpose of advanced standing.
