Course descriptionThe programme allows students to obtain a broad foundation in business skills and all key business areas and to develop specialist knowledge and practical experinece in the field of travel and tourism management.
The first year introduces students to business disciplines, and develops their skills and knowledge of business and travel and tourism. The second year builds on the students’ skills and knowledge by offering specialist courses such as Global Tourism Management along with courses preparing them for employment and final careers. An optional sandwich year provides the opportunity for either a study placement in particular universities such as Alicante, Venice or Krakow, or a work placement in a travel and tourism context, either in the UK or abroad. The final year continues with specialist courses and a research dissertation in an area of travel and tourism.
