Objectives This programme aims to offer you a professional training in statistics, preparing you for employment as a statistician in business, industry, education, medicine, government or scientific research establishments. It covers areas such as statistical data analysis and modelling, multivariate and non-parametric statistics.
Entry requirements Entry requirements: The entry requirement to the programmes is normally a good honours degree in mathematics, computer science or a mathematically-related discipline or an equivalent overseas qualification in a mathematical subject.

Course description Progression and assessment
There are two teaching semesters of 12 weeks each and approximately 15 weeks of project work. Assessment for the taught part is by exams and coursework.
