Objectives
This is a one-year full-time or two-year part-time programme. It offers opportunities for you to explore individual interests within the generic area of spatial design. You will engage in critical evaluation and debate on professionally relevant issues and develop your understanding of factors which influence contemporary practice. You will explore the interaction between culture, commerce and creative design interpretation. As well as the synergies between intellectual and commercial ideas and values, you will consider the philosophical and practical interpretations of ?the meaning of space.? The course will help you develop a high level of critical understanding, creativity and innovation. It encourages an holistic approach to design research and enquiry, development and communication. We foster a strongly individual approach within the practical context of the global marketplace for contemporary spatial design.
