Approach
Slovene language training is available seven days a week, 365 days a year. Training takes place between 08:00 and 20:00 although training is also available outside of these hours upon request.
Suitable tailored and published Slovene materials will be used throughout your course, with recommendations on self-study material and extra reading made at the beginning and throughout the duration of your course.

Slovene course trainer
All Communicaid Slovene trainers are native speakers with at least 3 years’ professional Slovene training experience. In addition to relevant academic and linguistic qualifications and experience, many of our Slovene trainers also possess considerable exposure and expertise in the professional world.
Your Slovene trainer will be assigned to you following the results of your diagnostic consultancy according to your objectives and areas of focus. Detailed below is a sample profile of a member of our Slovene training team.
NS
NS is a highly experienced Slovene language trainer, with a strong background in both academia and media. Her career spans for almost 30 years during which time she has served as the Head of Departments for a grammar school, a tertiary college, and as the Moderator for the University of London. She worked as a translator, broadcaster and contributor for the BBC World Service and Radio & TV Slovenia. For Communicaid, NS has trained a wide range of clients from both the corporate and public sector, delivering both beginners to advanced level Slovene courses.
NS is also an Associate lecturer with the Open University. In addition, she is also a published writer with publications featured in several educational and historical journals as well as feature and educational programmes for the BBC and Radio & TV Slovenia. She is also a translator.
Slovenš?ina – Facts about the Slovene language
Slovene, also known as Slovenian, is the official language of Slovenia and also has official language status in certain provinces and regions of Hungary, Austria and Italy. It is estimated that just over 2 million people speak Slovene, most of whom are located in Slovenia. Other communities of Slovene speakers can be found in neighbouring Italy and Austria as well as throughout the rest of the world as a result of emigration.
Slovene belongs to the South Slavic group of the Indo-European family of languages. Its closest relation is Serbian, Croatian, Bulgarian and Macedonian.
Slovene is a very varied language and possesses many different dialects - a number of which a number are not mutually intelligible. There are at least eight regional varieties although some linguists have suggested that there are up to 48 different varieties spoken.
Slovene is written using the Latin alphabet, with 3 additional letters: c, š, z
