Course descriptionThis degree provides the ideal basis for a career in the construction industry.
Quantity surveyors provide a range of services, including cost and contract advice and forecasting, and cost control and financial management of construction projects from inception to completion. This type of work provides an excellent basis for progression to management positions throughout the industry.
Quantity surveying requires a combination of technical, economic, legal and managerial skills, and the programme reflects this diversity.
Students are taught through lectures and studio sessions and work closely on projects with students of building surveying, design and construction management, estate management and architecture.
