The full MSc is broken down into three stages, each with a universally recognised exit award. Each stage is designed to be completed within six to nine months as directed by you. Consequently the MSc runs as a staged award, allowing you to comit only to part of the programme, thus recognising both the time and financial constraints of part-time study. The advantage of this method is that if circumstances change and you need to take a break from study then what has been completed to date gains recognition. Of equal importance, is that when you decide to return to study, both academic and financial credit can be applied to what you have already achieved (subject to certain conditions).
Undertaken in a typical time frame of 18-24 months, the stages are:
