This short course helps to develop an understanding of methods and processes for effective problem solving which students can apply in the workplace to improve their efficiency and productivity. The course introduces a framework for problem solving, exploring how to identify and define problems, researching and collecting data, selecting solutions from a range of options, implementing changes, monitoring performance and making further changes to improve performance where necessary. The course develops a wide range of creative thinking and problem solving skills which help to develop employees’ ability to improve efficiency and performance at work.
