Entry requirementsEntry Conditions The MSc in Executive Leadership is a strategic development initiative structured around eight modules and a best practice study visit to the Graduate School of Management, Boston College, USA. The programme is targeted at senior executives in a leadership role within their organization. Typically, participants will have significant budgetary and/or people management experience gained over at least 5 years in a senior managerial role. Applicants will normally hold an Honours degree or equivalent professional qualification. Exceptionally however, consideration will be given to those who can demonstrate a recognized track record in the practice of management. The programme will also be of interest ot organizations addressing succession planning issues at senior level.

The MSc in Executive leadership is more than an academic programme of study and knowledge acquisition. It is a personal and professional journey to excellence in leading people and organizations.
Duration and Mode of Attendance
Two years, part-time.
The full-time version of the course [MSc Executive Leadership (with Banking and Finance Specialism)] will only be made available to specific client groupings.
Structure and Content
This two year, part-time leadership development initiative is structured around seven modules each lasting three days plus one five-day module delivered at the Wallace E. Carroll Graduate School of Management, Boston College, USA. All other modules are delivered at the University of Ulster, Jordanstown Campus or other suitable location.
In addition students attend a half-day Action Learning Set (ALS) after each module. ALSs are designed as mentoring opportunities.
CertificationAssessment is by a company-based assignment at the end of each module. On successful completion of all eight modules participants achieve the Postgraduate Diploma in Executive Leadership. Those who achieve the eight modules and the dissertation will be awarded the MSc in Executive Leadership.
