Content details
This intensive course is designed for modern apprentices and new entrants into plumbing. It provides students with the core technical knowledge and practical skills required to work at level 3 as required by the industry. The course covers units such as cold water systems, hot water systems, central heating systems including boilers and controls, and gas supply systems.
How is the course taught
The learning programme includes workshop practical plumbing skills training and practical assessment, plumbing theory tuition and plumbing theory assessment.
Assessment
All assessments will be carried out at CONEL.
Course leads to
Candidates who have successfully completed Technical Certificate City and Guilds 6129-3 Plumbing Level 3 and NVQ Level 2 and whose employer can provide the necessary work place assessment opportunities can progress onto NVQ Level 3 6089-3.
