    Normally, a Cert Ed, together with experience in education or training. Those holding alternative qualifications should contact the course administrator to discuss entry routes.

    Modules are offered in a range of subject areas: Special Educational Needs (SEN); Educational Management; Teaching and Learning.

    Assessment
    All modules are assessed by course work.

    Resources and facilities
    Facilities include a range of well-equipped learning environments on the Clifton campus. The purpose built Ada Byron King building has state-of-the-art teaching rooms and ample work stations. The Lionel Robbins building has several teaching and seminar rooms.

    Study routes
    Attendance is normally on Tuesday evenings each week, 5.30-8.30pm.

    Special benefits
    Modules may be taken as free-standing courses or grouped to lead to named awards. The achievement of 60 credit points results in a Professional Certificate in Education Studies (PCES).
