Objectives
This programme is aimed at graduates whose first degree is not in a computing-related course Whatever your academic background, the course can be tailored to allow you to rapidly develop your skills in a particular area, and to smoothly bring your knowledge to an advanced level You will study in the highly-advanced environment of the University's new Technology Centre, where, in addition to the highest specification software and hardware resources, you will benefit from the considerable research and consultancy strengths of staff from within the School You have the option of evenings-only study On successful completion, you could choose to progress to a Postgraduate Diploma or MSc

Entry requirements
You must have a degree - usually at least a second class Honours or equivalent No prior computing qualifications are required, although we ask for familiarity with basic computing facilities, including keyboard skills

Future prospects
You could open up employment opportunities in positions such as online consultant, analyst/programmer, business systems analyst, database administrator, help desk co-ordinator, and software support technician, as well as lecturing in colleges
Alternatively you may continue your studies to our Postgraduate Diploma or Masters programmes
