Offshore and Ocean Technology with Subsea Engineering MSc

  • Course description
    Course Description:

Subsea engineering focuses on the deepwater issues of oil and gas exploitation. Operations have moved from relatively shallow water to depths that now demand totally different engineering solutions. The Offshore and Ocean Technology with Subsea Engineering MSc course addresses both the hardware that is used subsea, such as wellheads and separators, as well as important issues such as field layout, flow assurance and installation/maintenance.

    Start Months:

Full-time: October. Part-time: throughout the year.

    Entry Requirements:

A first or second class UK Honours degree (or equivalent) ideally in a related subject. Other recognised professional qualifications or several years relevant industrial experience may be accepted as equivalent; subject to approval by the Course Director. For further and specific information please visit the course page.

    Duration:

Full-time MSc - one year, Part-time MSc - up to three years, Full-time PgCert - one year, Part-time PgCert - two years, Full-time PgDip - one year, Part-time PgDip - two years

    Course format:
    • Taught
    • MSc/PgCert/PgDip

    Overview:
