Neurological Physiotherapy Master in Science

  • Entry requirements The course is open to physiotherapists who hold HPC registration as a physiotherapist and have a minimum of 1500 hours post-qualification experience in a neurological setting. Students whose first language is not English will normally be asked to meet the standard requirements for University entrance at this level which is IELTS 7 (with no section less than 6.5) or equivalent.

    Course content

    The course content is reviewed regularly to remain responsive to current practice developments and developments in neurology and neurological rehabilitation. The course facilitates the development of in-depth knowledge and a critical understanding of the theoretical concepts of neural control and the principles of neurological rehabilitation and encourages the application of theory to practice.

    Attendance for this course is flexible. You can take up to five years to complete the course, attending the University from as little as one afternoon or two days per week.. The course content is relevant to current practice and developments.
