Objectives
This course offers graduates a flexible approach to study for the MSc Software Engineering, offering, full-time, part-time and distance learning options. Graduates are prepared for positions in: -Consultancies -Software houses -Project Management

Entry requirements
Applicants will be expected to possess an Honours Degree (2:2 minimum) in a relevant subject. Students without academic qualifications but with extensive industry experience will be considered on an individual basis.

Course description
Programme
The MSc can be studied either full-time in one year or part-time typically over three (maximum six) years. The MSc consists of a short induction, eight taught modules and a project. The taught modules run over two semesters in the year. The summer is devoted to working on the project for full-time students, part-time students normally choose to spend their final year working on the project. There is also a provision for Distance Learning. The maximum length of study in that mode is six years which provides you with the flexibility to manage your studies: the number of chosen modules can vary between one to eight modules per year.
This course offers a great deal of adaptability enabling you to change your mode of study: full-time, part-time or distance learning.
Such a choice will largely depend on your personal circumstances.
