Course descriptionLearning Outcomes
You will gain the ability to demonstrate requirements detailed in CCETSW's (Central Council for Education and Training in Social Work's) Assuring Quality for Post Qualifying Education and Training - 1: Requirements for the Post Qualifying and Advanced Awards in Social Work (December 1997).
You will also develop an up-to-date knowledge of theoretical models, methods, policies and law in both the adult and juvenile criminal justice sectors.
How You Will Be Taught
You will engage in:
* two years' part-time study, modular in structure, consisting of six terms of 12 weeks;
* assessed practice throughout the programme in the participant's own agency;
* two-part written assignment for each module and a dissertation of 15,000 words;
* ongoing compilation of practice assignments.
