ObjectivesThe MSc in Social Research Methods provides lessons in the practical application and critical analysis of research methods. It is a research training course for social scientists and those in related disciplines. The central influence on course design has been the perceived needs of humanities and social science researchers. We have sought to design a programme that allows you to develop your research skills in qualitative and quantitative investigative techniques and analysis as well as the wider skills essential to the successful researcher – how to present your work, collaborate with others and apply ethical standards to what you do.
