  • Entry requirements Entry Requirements Candidates would be required to be registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council or professional equivalent or have an appropriate qualification. They must be able to demonstrate the ability to study at Level 7. Each student must have access to the appropriate client group for the duration of the course.

  • Course description This inter-professional programme is run in partnership with Respiratory Education UK and is designed to develop practitioners to synthesise knowledge relating to the respiratory field and initiate and drive forward the management of patients with respiratory disorders and diseases.

    The programme offers three discrete exit awards of Post Graduate Certificate, Post Graduate Diploma or the full MSc in Respiratory Disease Management.

    The programme is modular and students are able to negotiate a specific pathway which includes a range of modules including 3 compulsory modules which are relevant to their own clinical needs.

    How will I study?

    Each pathway is delivered using a blended learning approach which involves study via course packs supported by structured study days. The normal duration for this is 2 years.

    If you graduated from Edge Hill University in 2007 or 2008, you can benefit from a 50% reduction in tuition fees when enrolling on the full MSc Respiratory Disease Management programme. To receive the discount, you must be paying the fees yourself. Home and EU students are eligible. Please note, there is no discount for repeat year students.
