MSc-Postgraduate Diploma-Postgraduate Certificate in Industrial Relations and Human Resources by Distance Learning
ObjectivesThe MSc in Industrial Relations and Human Resources provides students with the knowledge and skills required to address the changes taking place in the work of HR professionals, such as the need to engage with a global and diverse workforce and to understand the changes in the employment relationship. It combines a more traditional focus on industrial relations with human resource development and management from the perspective of the individual or the organisation. Research methods training is also integral to this course.
Entry requirementsEntry requirements A minimum second class honours degree or an approved professional qualification coupled with suitable professional experience or successful completion of the CLMS Diploma courses (at the required level).

Teaching and assessment methods
All six courses are studied by distance learning. The courses are based upon the principles of continuous assessment. Students will be required to complete an assignment of 4,000-5,000 words at the end of each of the four modules. Students for the MSc are also required to complete a dissertation of 16,000-20,000 words.
