Teaching and assessment methods
The course is available for study by distance learning. It may also be studied in groups at or near to the participants’ place of work. Each student is appointed a tutor who will guide and advise the student, negotiate assignment topics and initially assess the student’s work. A particular strength of the programme is that it is supported by an excellent range of up-to-date, commercially published core texts and readers.
Each module is assessed by a 4,000 to 5,000 word assignment. The dissertation is 15,000 to 20,000 words. In each case the focus is individually negotiated with the tutor
