MSc-Postgraduate Diploma in Human Geography by individually supervised study
ObjectivesTo provide a Master’s course that allows the taught elements to be tailored in a way relevant to individual research interests and with significant emphasis on the production of a dissertation. It will appeal to those who already have particular research interests and are seeking a course that allows them to pursue these in order to gain a postgraduate qualification.

* One of these modules can be replaced by an approved Masters module elsewhere in the Department or University.
Teaching and assessment methods
Teaching is conducted in lectures, seminars, self-paced learning, tutorials and supervisory meetings. Assessment of taught modules is by coursework and/or examination.
Taught modules account for 120 credits, research dissertation for 60 credits. The dissertation is between 10,000 and 20,000 words.
