    Modules may be studied as part of a Continuing Professional Development programme and are approved as further learning for professional qualifications.

    Some EPSRC Scholarships are available and are awarded on merit.

    Graduates of this programme will be well equipped to meet the challenges of the modern structural engineering industry. They may occupy pivatol appointments in prestigious building schemes and the prospect of a challeging career to provide and protect the infrastructure that underpins society.

    Graduates might typically work as a structural engineer in a design office or for an engineering consultancy.

    Duration
    MSc: one year, full-time, three years, part-time

    PgDip: nine months, full-time, two years, part-time

    PgCert: six months fulltime, one year part-time

    -An appropriate honours degree such as civil engineering or structural engineering
