Entry requirementsThis course will appeal to health and social care professionals who work in teams and organisations with remits that cut across traditional boundaries. It will give you the opportunity to engage in the exploration and critical evaluation of issues that lie at the heart of modernisation and it provides a chance to network with people from a wide range of professional backgrounds. Course descriptionCollaboration lies at the heart of the Governments new NHS agenda, with all services being built around the needs of those who use them.
This course can be taken part-time or full-time and is aimed at health and social care professionals interested in developing partnerships and collaborating with users, carers and people who work in health and social care.

Course Content
Modules begin in September and February each year and applications can be made all year round. The full Masters programme is made up of 2 compulsory and 2 optional modules and a dissertation.
Compulsory Modules:
-Collaboration in Health and Social Care: Explore the professional, political, financial and ethical issues which influence the development of a collaborative approach to health and social care
-Research Methods: Allows you to develop a rigorous approach to the process of research and prepares you to complete a dissertation/ research project
-Optional Modules include:
-Effective Leadership and Strategic Management: Develop the skills and knowledge of leading people through complexity and change with assessment focused on management issues within your own workplace
-Evidence Based Practice:Develop an in-depth knowledge of evidence based practice and the process involved in its implementation
-Health Care Policy and Politics: Analyse your practice in the light of current political and economic ideology relating to health care
-Multi-cultural and International Health Care: Explore health care within multi-cultural societies and examine your practice within an international context
