This joint programme with the University of Strathclyde comprises four modules and a dissertation, and may be completed part-time over two years, taking one module per semester, or full-time over one year taking two modules per semester.
The core modules aim to explore and develop the connections between theory and practice and include:
* Understanding crime and crime reduction
* Understanding punishment and penal practice
* Understanding research in crime and justice.
If you wish to acquire the MSc you will study four modules and write a dissertation on a topic chosen in consultation with your supervisor. Completion of four modules will result in the award of a PgDip and completion of two modules will result in the award of a PgCert.
