ObjectivesA unique course in conjunction with the University of Leeds. Nanotechnology is one of the key twenty-first century technologies, and its interdisciplinary nature requires a range of skills not provided by any single science department. This course is taught by staff at the forefront of the field from the Universities of Sheffield and Leeds, to equip graduates for careers in this expanding and leading edge science. Students will gain a broad understanding of the relevant areas of materials science, physics, chemistry, electronics and biology on which this technology draws.
Entry requirementsEntry requirements First or second class Honours degree or equivalent in electronic, mechanical or a similar engineering disciplines. Physics will also be acceptable.
