ObjectivesThis is a cutting-edge MSc programme which produces highly regarded graduates who are sought after by commercial enterprises and universities worldwide. The field of microelectronic systems design embodies many of the key skills relating to IC design and electronic systems engineering. This MSc programme offers a wide choice of modules based on digital integrated circuit design and analogue integrated circuit design. It examines aspects of system integration and aspects of discrete device properties. The second semester includes a group project on VLSI design and optional modules on nanotechnology, microsystems technology and radio frequency transceiver design.
Entry requirementsUpper second class honours degree or higher or equivalent in an appropriate subject discipline (for example, Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, or Computer Science)
