This programme offers training in the core areas of macroeconomics, microeconomics and financialeconomics. It has a specific international macroeconomic and financialeconomics slant.

You will take five core courses
* Macroeconomics
* Microeconomics
* International finance and money
* Basic econometrics (or Advanced econometrics, subject to the approval of the programme director)
* Economics of finance.
Plus one option and a dissertation. The list of options includes:
* IMF, World Bank and economic growth
* Financial institutions and markets in developing countries
* Advanced econometrics (if not taken as a core)
* International trade
* Money, finance and growth
* Other MSc options subject to approval.
