  • Academic title MSc Integrated Management Systems
  • Course description The MSc in Integrated Management Systems follows the success and widespread adoption of quality management systems standards. In recent years, further systematic approaches have been introduced in areas such as the environment, and health and safety. These systems can be integrated, leading to greater efficiency and effectiveness in business and industry.

This programme has been developed in collaboration with industry and professional bodies, and offers students the opportunity to continue their professional development. In the first instance, the programme is aimed at those already employed in the areas of Quality, Environment or Health and Safety. Offered on a flexible part-time or full-time basis, the programme allows students to tailor their studies around work or personal commitments.

This programme examines current practice in the industrial sector, where an increasing number of companies are looking to adopt an integrated approach to their quality, environmental and health and safety systems. International Standard for Organisation (ISO) member organisations are adopting an integrated approach. This will have an impact on all industrial sectors adhering to existing standards in Quality, Environment and Health and Safety.
