Objectives
The course aims to provide you with a thorough grounding in health-related research methods You study ethical aspects of health care, the uses of IT in health care organisations, and the policy and practice of health promotion As a result, you develop an up-to-date understanding of current debates surrounding health issues and recent research You gain new practical skills and become a critically-aware health practitioner, manager or researcher The Division of Health Studies is a small, friendly team and you are extremely well-supported throughout your course - you will be encouraged to bring your personal and professional expertise to your studies This course is very flexible and you can tailor your studies to your own interests and professional requirements

Entry requirements
Normally, you should have an Honours degree or equivalent - substantial professional experience can substitute for graduate status We accept graduates with an Honours degree in a wide variety of subjects - graduates from disciplines other than health may well be eligible for entry You should also have a good standard of written and spoken English (IELTS 6.0 or equivalent)
