Entry requirements* Entry Requirements: A 2ii Honours degree or an equivalent qualification in an engineering discipline, or, in exceptional circumstances, three years or more significant managerial experience. Additionally, non native English speakers require IELTS 6.5 or equivalent. This course is designed for holders of an Engineering degree to develop a broad knowledge of contemporary management in order to enhance their career development. The course focuses on a detailed exploration of the theory and practice of key management areas. The course will run full-time over one academic year. The part-time route will last for three academic years.

* Two Engineering Elective Modules
Stage Three
* Dissertation – Management Research Project
The elective modules may be chosen from any Engineering discipline within the University portfolio, subject to consultation with the Scheme Team and timetabling constraints.
How To Study
There is a varied lecture and seminar programme with extensive use made of group work, case studies and guest speakers from a variety of backgrounds. Assessment is through coursework-based assignments. The final assessment is a dissertation, in which you will examine an area within management of interest to yourself, either as a company-based project or as more abstract research.
