ObjectivesThis Masters programme is designed to provide computing graduates with advanced skills and knowledge in the application of electronic technology to the field of electronic commerce. The overall aims of the programme are: * Enable students to make critical assessments of technology and its application in E-Technology for Business. * Develop and enhance the skills and knowledge of students so that they can contribute at a high level to the creation and adoption of a systematic, professional and quality approach to E-Technology for Business systems development. * Identify the appropriate role for electronic commerce technologies in developing and implementing IT strategies. * Provide students with the skills and knowledge to make a significant contribution to E-Technology for Business systems research activities.
Entry requirementsThe MSc/PGD/PGC E-Technology for Business has been developed for those graduates who are interested in learning about dynamic web technologies and their commercial application to business. The focus of the programme has been towards developing the core computing and electronic commerce aspects of the E-Technology discipline rather than concentrating on the business and commercial aspects.
