MSc-Diploma-Certificate Arts and Heritage Management

  • Objectives The management of arts and heritage is an applied area of education and training which provides specialised skills. These are transferable across the whole of the expanding service sector in the economy, which accounts for over two-thirds of employment in the UK and is growing internationally. There has never been a greater need for managers with appropriate training to ensure that arts and heritage organisations survive and succeed in the 21st century. The Arts & Heritage Management MSc has been designed to appeal to people interested in starting a career in arts and heritage; those already working in the sector who wish to improve their management qualifications; and those who want to make a career change.
  • Entry requirements Entry requirements A good second class honours degree or better from a recognised university, or approved professional qualification. Occasionally, experienced managers without these qualifications will be accepted. Our standard English requirements for overseas students are: IELTS 7.0 with a minimum of 6 in each category or TOEFL 617 with 4.5 on the Test of Written English, which must be taken as a separate part of the TOEFL test, or 260 in the computer-based test with 5 in the TWE.
