MSc Construction Management

  • Objectives The purpose of the course is to educate managers for the British construction industry within a European context by developing skills and attitudes with regard to construction and culture. Construction Management is considered as a tripartite pattern: * The corporate organisation * The project * The cultural/social/political/economic contexts within which individuals, organisations and projects operate.
  • Entry requirements Entry requirements Normally an approved first degree or European or international equivalent at second class honours in a construction related discipline, or corporate membership of an approved professional institution plus proficiency, equivalent to secondary school completion level, in English. Preference is given to applicants with at least two years relevant work experience. Applicants with degrees in other disciplines, who have appropriate industrial experience, may be considered for admission. Exceptional Entry Applicants holding degrees in other disciplines, with appropriate industrial experience may be considered for admission. Mature applicants with suitable experience / non-standard qualifications will be considered for admission.
