Entry requirements
For practising hospital pharmacists who wish to develop specialist knowledge of clinical pharmacy and therapeutics, the course aims to provide an understanding of contemporary issues and current developments in clinical pharmacy practice. Subjects studied include: Clinical Pharmacy Practice; Drug Administration Methods; Medical Therapeutics; Research Methods; and Advanced Hospital Pharmacy Practice.

Course description
The course offers flexible learning and offers students the opportunity to select units for individual study and to undertake the programme at their own pace - for example, to take the PgC over 2 years.
The course is subject to continuous assessment by written assignment plus end of unit exams for some units.

Clinical Pharmacy Practice, Drug Information/Communication Studies, Drug Administration Methods, Advising on Core Therapy.
Year 2
Medical Therapeutics/ Biopharmaceutics and Pharmaceutics, Specialist Therapeutics.
