MPhys Physics with Study in Australasia

  • Objectives Experience a different country and higher education system by spending the third year of your MPhys at a university in Australia. The international element offers you a wider range of learning and living environments. Our MPhys Physics course provides a broad-based and intellectually demanding education across the whole spectrum of modern physics. It includes all the fundamental knowledge essential to the professional physicist, and will help you to develop the qualities and abilities physicists rely on. The year abroad forms an integral part of your degree, with courses at the Australian university being carefully chosen to replace the Sheffield third year courses. Back in Sheffield, year four will give you greater experience of research work and the opportunity to select some advanced topics to study in greater depth.
