ObjectivesThe aim of the programme is to provide you with postgraduate clinical training in fixed and removable prosthodontics. This will give you the opportunity to enhance and extend tour clinical practice. It will also equip you with the knowledge and experience necessary for engaging in and contributing to current world debates about major issues in clinical and academic prosthodontics.
Entry requirementsEntry requirements You should should have an undergraduate Dental Degree and a minimum of three years postgraduate clinical experience. You must provide proficiency in the English language, achieved within two years prior to application. Normally this will be the British Council IELTS (minimum score 6.5 with no less than 6.0 in any sub-skill) or equivalent.
* Preventive prosthodontics
* Treatment of edentulous patients
* Treatment of patients with missing teeth
* Intra-coronal restorations
* Extra-coronal restorations
* Core course in research methods and statistics
* Research topic to be presented in a thesis.
In keeping with professional requirements, you will also be expected to attend basic life-support and fire lectures, in addition to journal clubs.
