Content
This programme emphasises the interdisciplinary nature of American studies while allowing you to pursue coursework and research within cognate disciplines. A core course introduces the field of American studies and you choose two courses taught by staff in the constituent fields of American studies, including archaeology, history of art, English literature, history, philosophy, and theatre, film and television studies. You may apply to spend one semester taking courses at the University of Oklahoma as part of an American studies exchange programme.
