MEng Mechatronics with Management

  • Objectives During this four year MEng course you will study devices which combine mechanical and electronic components such as camcorders, robots, sound and vibration control systems and DVD drives. This course aims to meet the increasing demand for management graduate skills. You will specialise in an underlying systems theme for the first three years, and then receive focused management teaching in year four. We use a wide variety of teaching and assessment methods to deliver a broad learning experience and equip you with transferable skills. There are also opportunities to study another language, and take part in group and individual projects.
  • Entry requirements Entry requirements GCE/VCE A Levels - BBB* BTEC National Diploma - 3 Distinctions and 3 Merits* Two GCE A Levels plus two GCE AS Levels - Typically AA+BB - BB+BB Scottish Highers - AABB* Irish Leaving Cert. - ABBBB* International Baccalaureate - 32 points* Core Requirements - GCE A Level including Maths and Science or Technology. Applicants offering the above plus two VCE A Levels or a Double Award VCE A Level in Science or Engineering will be considered.
