  • Course description For many organisations information is the resource, and knowledge the unique asset, that brings clients. They need to manage risk and opportunities in an ever changing environment – and they need managers with the strategic skills to make it happen.

These managers have to be able to work with, and between, business and IT specialists. They must shape information and knowledge strategies, and provide the leadership to make and carry out information policies.

This course builds the strategic perspective they need on the use of
    • information
    • organisational knowledge
    • information technologies

We use Microsoft Dynamics™ as the main technology solution to underpin our course. It is a suite of enterprise resource planning and customer relationship management solutions.

When you have successfully completed the first four modules, we arrange employment opportunities with Microsoft partners. You continue your studies for the employer as a distance learning student.

The course examines technology and its potential from the perspective of those managing technical staff, rather than the technical staff themselves. It focuses on the management of information, information systems and knowledge workers.

Key themes are built around the informational aspects of
    • individual and organisational behaviour and politics
    • management processes
    • human resources
    • strategy
    • culture

This MBA also develops high level managerial and strategic skills for executives, managers and consultants, including communication and analytical skills, problem solving, creative thinking, and change management.
