ObjectivesThe MBA Tourism is specifically designed to cater for the needs of those students looking to switch to, or for career development in, the tourism industry. The University of Surrey has been consistently rated as one of the best Tourism schools in the UK by The Guardian newspaper and has been providing tourism education programmes since 1966. The School of Management is accredited by the World Tourism Organization (UNWTO), a specialised agency of the United Nations organisation. Drawing on this extensive experience and a worldwide reputation for tourism research excellence, the MBA Tourism programme has been introduced to provide managers in this fast-growing industry with the latest business theory applied in a tourism context.
