Course descriptionModule details
A range of course-units in mathematical logic are offered by the School of Mathematics. Optional course-units are available in theoretical computer science and in linguistics.
Progression and assessment
Examinations on most taught course-units for both the MSc and PGDip are held in January and April/May. The MSc dissertation is prepared between May and September. For Diploma students a short project is normally completed in May and June. The taught course units have an element of continuous assessment which normally constitutes 20% of the assessment assigned to the course unit.
