- Undertake research projects on advanced topics in communications and signal processing.
- Prepare for PhD research in the exciting areas of telecommunications and signal processing.
- Be prepared for future job opportunities in the relevant research institutions and industries.
Our department provides an excellent environment for graduate training in research and has extensive links with academic and industrial groups. You will select two taught modules to extend and complement existing knowledge. You will also undertake a substantial research project which runs throughout the year supervised by an academic in one of our department’s research areas, in close association with research workers in the field.
Appropriate projects can provide the foundations for PhD research.

Two taught modules and a supervised research project. Written examinations; project dissertation; coursework.
