ObjectivesThis course is designed to meet the needs of those who wish to pursue a career in financial information systems. This could be in a consultancy role or, if combined with a professional accounting qualification, in a systems accounting environment in industry. It is likely to be of interest to graduates in an accounting, business or computing discipline. You will study modern financial information systems, theory and practice. Part of the course will give you some experience in using commercial accounting software.
Entry requirementsNormally a lower second-class Honours degree, which should include modules in both accounting and computing. Applicants will also be considered who have a relevant professional qualification and/or extensive relevant professional experience, gained in either a financial or IT environment.

Full-time: one year, three days/eves a week
