MAcc International Accounting & Financial Management
ObjectivesThis programme aims to develop an awareness and understanding of issues facing organisations which operate internationally, focusing primarily on accounting and finance related issues. A distinctive and attractive feature of the degree is its international dimension which recognises the increasing importance of the rapidly developing international nature of business activity. Courses therefore emphasise an international perspective throughout the degree. For example, the financial accounting courses are based on the International Accounting Standards Board's standards.
Entry requirementsEntry requirements 2.1 Honours degree or equivalent with at least four full courses in accounting/auditing.

Course descriptionAs the programme is based on a structure of core and option courses, you are given flexibility to pursue studies in a chosen area of interest. The MAcc offers advanced preparation for career development in accounting and finance. It also provides an excellent foundation from which to pursue research at the Doctoral level.

* Advanced international accounting

* International financial analysis.
The final project or dissertation will consist of one work of approximately 15,000 words, devoted to an agreed subject.
