Objectives
This course will allow you to draw on your background in Philosophy to pursue the subject in greater depth at postgraduate level, and to make the transition from undergraduate study to research-based study. Although it is quite normal for students to stop at the MA stage, the course also serves as preparation for those intending to proceed to MPhil and PhD programmes, and has been designed to fit well with the current strategy of the Arts and Humanities Research Council (AHRC) to offer funding packages of 1+3 years.
