ObjectivesTo provide transferable skills and knowledge that will enable you to engage effectively and critically with the international political, cultural and social processes through which childhood is constructed. To provide you with an up-to-date and critical understanding of the epistemologies, theories and processes through which such processes can be understood. To enable you to critically reflect upon and analyse social policies and practices relating to children in the context of their rights under international law and conventions. To ensure you have a thorough grounding in research methods in order to enable you to critically evaluate research outputs and methodologies in the field of childhood studies, and to design and undertake high quality research of your own.
Entry requirementsEntry requirements A good honours degree in a relevant subject (2:1 or above preferred) and/or relevant professional experience and qualifications.
